To Melbourne, with love - 5 small businesses to support

As our friends and family in Victoria head in to their sixth lockdown, our hearts are breaking with them. I want to send as much love and support to them as I can, so today I am sharing some small businesses that I genuinely love and buy from.

Supporting small business right now, means you are directly putting food on their family table and alleviating a little stress from everyday life. I can promise you, that each purchase will be received with so much love and truly spark a little joy for these women. 

Madeleine Stamer

Madeleine Stamer (@madeleine_stamer)  is one of my most favourite artists (also one of my best friends). Maddie's work is full of colour, heart and folksy vibes. She is a mother of two beautiful teenage girls and a genuinely fabulous human. Maddie has made her work available in several different print sizes and formats, which are printed by her husband, Karl AKA Mr Printer (@lantern_printing).

Say Hola: Maria Flores

Maria Flores (@say_hola) creates the most intentional heart felt pieces. Her Latina roots continually inspiring her, Maria's pieces will bring so much more than pretty vibes and colour. She creates with many different mediums and her art represents some of her soul. 

Courtney And The Babes

Courtney (@courtneyandthebabes) hand crafts essential oils that are cruelty free. Courtney is a single mother of three that shares her heart with her community on instragram. I have used her oils and diffusers for years now and they are second to none. 

Cleopatra's Bling

Olivia Cummings (@cleopatrasbling) is just now opening her flagship store in Melbourne, after returning home at the beginning of the pandemic. I love her jewels so much, her stories are full of richness and soul and her imagery is just one of the best visual journeys. I have several pieces myself that I wear daily. 

Think Thornbury

Think Thornbury @thinkthornbury is a family-run business. I encourage you to head to their instagram to read about their story - a young family, and show them some love. They are a gorgeous small store that stocks so many other small businesses products, plus supporting their family. Maggie May and Josh are the owners. Lots of goodies available in store from books and toys for the kids, to cook books and knitted garments.
